Born in 1967 in Volgograd, Anna is a direct descendant of Count Irakli Morkov, head of the noblemen’s militia during the Patriotic War of 1812.

Anna started drawing at an early age, graduating from the Volgograd Children’s Art School to attend the Crimean Art College.

Following her graduation, she worked for a number of years as a picture-restorer at the IK Aivazovsky Art Gallery.  Since 1994, she has been involved in the organisation of the Children’s Art School in Voloshin, where  she taught painting and composition while studying at the Crimean Humanities University.

Since 2005, she has been a full-time artist, participating in both national and international exhibitions.  She has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2010 and the Union of Artists of Russia since 2014.  In 2013 she was a finalist in the international art exhibition “Tears of Happiness” held in England.
