The Lines family made rocking horses for almost a century. George & Joseph Lines worked together from 1876 to develop their company, G & J Lines, to be one of the largest toymakers in Britain.
This model has a metal badge on the front embossed with Hamleys, the London toy store, while there is a G & J L Ltd London badge on the rear bracket.
