Shirley Carnt (Deterding) is an international artist who, since the 60s, has exhibited worldwide with regular shows in Central London as well as her annual exhibitions in her native Norfolk, England.

She now lives and works from her studio at Coastguard House, on the edge of the marsh at Thornham, where uninterrupted views of the sea, marsh and the ever changing sky continue to give her inspiration.

Shirley has also produced a number of illustrated books. Shehas recently been awarded Oil Painter of the Year by Aspire magazine.
