Lucy Poett ARBS

Born Edinburgh. Painter in oils and sculptress. Studied at the Heatherley School of Art (London) and sculpture at the Dundee College of Art under Scott Sutherland. Moved to London, specialising in bronze portrait heads and drawings. Especially fascinated by faces in the deserts of India and the Middle East, and by birds and animals. Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and member of the Society of Women Artists. Exhibits regularly at the Royal Scottish Academy and holds frequent exhibitions of both paintings and sculpture in London & Scotland, where she lives. Her sitters have included Sir Alec Guinness, The Duke of Atholl, Virginia McKenna, Wilfred Thesiger, the Earl of Moray, and Lord Burleigh.
